Terms of Service
Last updated September 6, 2026
Plain-language document and a starting template. Have your own legal counsel review and finalize it — including the bracketed [placeholders] — before you rely on it.
The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you (“Customer,” “you”) and [Your registered business name] (“FLReception,” “we”). By using the service, creating an account, or forwarding your phone line to us, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
The service
FLReception is an AI phone receptionist that answers inbound calls on your behalf, speaks with callers using an automated assistant, offers availability from your connected calendar, books appointments, and records the results in a dashboard. Features and limits depend on the plan you select.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must give accurate information and keep it current. You must have authority to bind the business you register.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to break the law, to harass or defraud callers, to place or facilitate unlawful telemarketing, or to interfere with the service’s operation. You are responsible for how you configure the assistant and for the content of the calls it handles on your behalf.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your business and your calls, including call-recording, consent, and telemarketing rules. You must not misrepresent the automated assistant as a live person, and you must not disable the call-start disclosure we provide. See our Recording & AI Disclosure and Messaging Terms.
Fees & billing
Plan fees, any one-time setup fee, and usage limits are shown at sign-up and on our pricing page. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated. We may change pricing with reasonable notice for future billing periods.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. There is no long-term contract. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the service or other users.
Warranties & disclaimers
We work hard to keep the service reliable, but it is provided “as is.” Automated systems and third-party telephone, AI, and calendar providers can fail or make mistakes. We do not warrant that every call will be answered, transcribed, or booked correctly, and the service is not a substitute for emergency services.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the [three] months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in [county], Florida.
