Messaging (SMS) Terms

Plain-language document and a starting template. Have your own legal counsel review and finalize it — including the bracketed [placeholders] — before you rely on it.
In short
If a business using FLReception has SMS enabled, we may send you a transactional text about an appointment you booked — such as a confirmation. We do not send marketing texts without your express written consent. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
What texts we send
Messages are limited to information about the appointment you arranged on the call: a booking confirmation, a reminder, or a follow-up needed to complete your request. These are transactional messages tied to a service you initiated.
Consent
By providing your phone number during a call and booking an appointment, you consent to receive transactional text messages about that appointment. Any marketing or promotional texts are sent only where you have given prior express written consent, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Frequency & cost
Message frequency varies with your appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We don’t charge you for the messages; your carrier’s standard rates apply.
Opt out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation and then stop sending transactional texts to that number. You may still receive calls, and you can continue to reach the business by phone.
